PROMENADE: Summer Smoothie Recipes

On a hot summer’s day, when makeup is melting off your face and the sun burn is making you slightly resemble a tomato, there is nothing more revitalising than to drench your taste buds in an ice cold drink. Our dear friend, H2O, is the obvious option and great for keeping hydrated but sometimes something a bit more fruity is a great summer treat. The hot summer weather brings the best of the fruit and what a perfect time to up the action of your bullet blender with some vitamin ridden smoothies. Alternatively, freeze the smoothie in an ice lolly mould for a delicious popsicle.

 

THE PINK SMOOTHIE: STRAWBERRY AND BANANA

8x Strawberries

1x Banana

3x Tbsp spoon Yoghurt

3x Tbsp Milk

2x Tbsp Ground Almond

 

THE ORANGE SMOOTHIE: APRICOT AND CARROT

1x Apricot

2x Carrots

1x Orange

14x Cashew Nuts

1x Tbsp of Goji Berries

1x Cup of Water

 

THE YELLOW SMOOTHIE: BANANA AND MANGO

1x Mango

1x Banana

500ml Orange Juice

 

THE GREEN SMOOTHIE: KIWI

x3 Kiwis

x3 Bananas

x1 Orange

x2 Tbsp Apple Juice

 

THE PURPLE SMOOTHIE: FOREST FRUIT

x1 Cup of Frozen Forest Fruit

x3 Tbsp of Forest Fruit Yoghurt

x1 Banana
